Over the past couple of years, I’ve seen the amount of income I make from blogging grow steadily. Some months now, it’s half my income. That can mean $5,000 a month or more from blogging.
The Ultimate Guide to Selling on Amazon Once again, though, it’s like starting any company. While you might not necessarily need to know how to code, you do need an entrepreneurial mindset, work ethic, and personality type, and you’ll probably struggle for years, going through a string of failures before you finally get it right. If you’re successful, though, the passive income potential is enormous.
September 28, 2007 at 7:42 pm Affiliate marketing is a little bit different, but easier to explain. Basically, you can sign up to be an “affiliate” with different companies — meaning that when you share about that company on your website, and someone goes to that company’s site and buys things, you will earn a commission. There are thousands of affiliate programs out there. Seriously, tons. If you’re curious, sites will usually have a link at the very bottom of their webpage that says “affiliates,” which explains how to sign up for their program. However, there are “affiliate networks,” like Share-A-Sale, where you can easily browse through and search for your favorite brands and apply for their programs. Usually, you’d sign up to be an affiliate if you like the brand already. It’s kind of like, if you’re going to talk about a product on your blog, you might as well earn a commission for marketing that company’s product to your audience. I find affiliate marketing to be easier if your blog has a clear niche or focus. I imagine fashion bloggers could earn decent commissions because they have the chance to link their clothing using affiliate links. My blog? Not as much. But I still use them from time to time if there’s a product I want to share. Bottom line, if you like something, why not become an affiliate? Here are a few popular affiliate networks:

Affiliate Sales – $61.83 (This is a combination of cash and credits) Some of these lists are available via the official Product Advertising API, but many of them are not. Being able to use any of the features listed above (and some more) to find and review a product that precisely matches the focus of your particular niche site, seems like a surefire way to build an interesting review site and to grow your following. That’s why it seems natural, that a true curation plugin should work on an item-by-item basis.

Reports Kimberly George It looks like these will probably be long-term arrangements; however, I didn’t end-up having much time to take on optional projects in August, as I went back to my day job as a full-time teacher and also worked close to full-time hours in my real estate business.
Dee @ The Kitchen Snob If more than 20% of it is copy and pasted from the previous month, I hate them. If you are sharing original content and REAL business insights and it’s simply delivered as an income report, I absolutely love them.

Alia @ Everyday Easy Eats says Companies will often approach bloggers to write product reviews because they have an audience that is engaged. They will pay you to review the product and might even let you keep the product! That sounds like a sweet deal, but you need to be careful about reviews.
Hm, something to think about. Thank you for your feedback.

A Cozy Office Nook 577.4k * This pro blogger has introduced a podcast to provide more color and personality to his content. He recognizes that there are millions of people who only listen to podcasts, which he’d like to connect with. Given his blog traffic and established brand, advertisers easily pay $1,000 – $2,000 per 15 – 20 minute episode. If the blogger just produces one episode a week, he’ll make an additional $52,000 from his work, instead of the $12,000 I estimated here.
Today I'll be talking about how to earn passive income with your blog. In my previous post, I covered the most popular types of income you can make from blogging. Now I’d like to get a little more in depth and talk specifically about producing passive income and why setting up your blog to earn passive income is a great way to massively multiply earning potential from your blog.
I am a big advocate of the methods of “nothing is perfect but waiting is a bad idea”. I think there are so many reasons to put off something but in the end it’s just better to do it and try and fail and learn and grow. I put a lot of things off because I wasn’t sure about the right way, turns out there wasn’t a right way.
